Gluten-Free Painted Corn Chips

Add a creative flair to your appetizer board with our simple and healthy painted corn crisps. Explore various forms and thicknesses by painting the batter on a silicone mat with a brush or a spatula. Bake times will vary depending on batter thickness. Mix, paint, bake and enjoy!

Oven temperature: 400 F


Ingredients:
• ½ cup whole grain flour from milled Glenn’s Floury Corn
• ¼ tsp sea salt
• ½ cup water

Garnish:
• 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
• 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
• 1 tsp poppy seeds
• Optional olive oil for brushing
• Optional kosher salt for sprinkling

Instructions:

• Preheat oven to 400F.
• Combine all dry ingredients and stir.
• Mix in water.
• Prepare an insulated (or double-stacked) baking sheet and line with a silicone mat.
• Paint batter directly on the silicone mat with a brush or spatula.
• Garnish with poppy seeds, black and white sesame seeds.
• Bake on the center rack for 10 - 13 minutes.
• You may choose to brush crackers with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt after 5 minutes of baking.
• Bake time will vary depending on cracker thickness.
